The Vertiv Geist Switched RPDU VP5U21A0 is a 16A/20A, 120V/208V/230V, 1U, horizontal rack power distribution unit with input power monitoring and outlet level switching. It has (12) Combination C13/C19 outlets, a C20 inlet, and 1.9kW/3.3kW/3.6kW of power capacity. This device allows you to remotely turn off receptacles to avoid accidental overloads and power cycle equipment to reboot unresponsive critical IT equipment. It is integrated with the Vertiv Geist Next-Generation IMD which displays power data via its 128x128 high-visibility LCD. It has an internal sensor that intelligently adjusts the orientation based on horizontal or vertical installation. This includes a redundant power-sharing port that connects two IMDs in the rack and provides backup power in case of power loss. Enhanced security with a secure boot is added to the device to help ensure data and operations are protected. The units are UL Listed, CE Marked, comply with IEC 60950-1 (CB Certificate Available), TAA compliant, RoHS certified, and are individually tested for functionality and reliability.
