The RAP-278U consists of a female PVC slip pipe socket and round base plate with AMPs hole pattern. The socket can connect to any RAM PVC pipe and can be permanently fastened using electrical tape or PVC pipe cement. Intended for light duty use. Not intended for use in vehicle interiors or high temperature environments.

The RAM Universal No-Drill Laptop features a heavy-duty steel mounting base designed to fit the 2020-2023 Ford Police Interceptor Utility.
