The Vertiv Geist Rack Transfer Switch VA4U11A0 is a 10A/15A, 100V-240V, single phase unit level monitored rPDU with (10) U-Lock C13 outlets and (2) input C14 inlets that provide 1.4kW/2.4kW/2.3kW power capacity. This unit provides backup power to single-corded devices and helps ensure continuity in the event of power loss. It quickly detects power loss on the main source and automatically switches to the secondary source within less than 4 to 8 milliseconds. It is integrated with the Vertiv Geist Next-Generation IMD which displays power data via its 128x128 high-visibility LCD. It has an internal sensor that intelligently adjusts the orientation based on horizontal or vertical installation. This includes a redundant power-sharing port that connects two IMDs in the rack and provides backup power in case of power loss.
