The SAS architecture offers a new level of price/performance flexibility for the system builder by supporting both SAS and Serial ATA (SATA) disk drives and components at data rates of up to 3Gbps or 6Gbps. These cables are constructed with 30AWG, 8 pair cable, include the sideband signal cable and feature SFF-8087 connectors. This cable is used to connect a Mini-SAS 36 Host to a Mini-SAS drive within a server or other network device.
