The Supermicro MBI-6218G-T41X MicroBlade is a high-density barebone server featuring embedded Intel Xeon D-1541 processors (8-core, 2.10GHz) with System-on-Chip architecture. Each module includes two independent compute nodes, supporting up to 392 nodes in a 42U rack.
Each node supports up to 128GB DDR4 VLP ECC RDIMM memory (4× 288-pin DIMM slots, 2133MHz) and includes one 2.5" SATA3 (6Gbps) HDD or SSD, with a total of two drives per SuperBlade sled.
Networking is handled via two 10GbE LAN ports through the Intel X550 controller, with Intel I/OAT 3 for fast, scalable, and reliable networking, and VMDq support for improved virtualization performance.
Included components are the MicroBlade motherboard (MBD-B1SD2-TF), MicroBlade sled (MCP-680-31404-0N), add-on card (AOM-BPN-MS28U), and four MicroBlade module chassis. This setup provides high performance, efficient power usage, and simplified management for cloud computing, virtualization, and other data-intensive workloads.
