This lens hood is designed specifically to fit the Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS III USM L-series lens. When secured, it prevents stray light from entering the lens – which can be a source of flare and ghosting, whilst also protecting the lens’ front element. This Canon (ET-160 WIII) lens hood is built to the same exacting standards as the EF 600mm f/4L IS III USM lens, designed to blend in perfectly with the lens’ thermally-insulating white paint exterior.
