Gigabit Small Form-Factor Pluggable ModulesThe Allied Telesis SP Series delivers flexible, full-duplex Ethernet connectivity. These hot-swappable fiber and copper interfaces simply plug into the SFP slot on all SFP-compatible devices. Configuration can be optimized to meet a wide variety of distance and service requirements.CompatibilityAllied Telesis SP Series Gigabit Small Form-Factor Pluggables (SFPs) are supported on all Allied Telesis devices with SFP uplink connections.SP Series SFPs are Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA)-compliant, and fully adhere to industry standard networking regulations. This allows the SP Series to be used with other MSA-compliant platforms that support SFP uplink connections. For Cisco compatibility please refer to the “SFP Compatibility Flyer”.OptionsSP Series SFPs offer short-haul,long-haul and Bi-Directional (BiDi) solutions. This flexibility allows network managers to easily extend network distance and bandwidth.Using an SFP BiDi transceiver can upgrade transmission capacity on a typical network—without installing new fibers—by utilizing a single fiber for both the send and receive signals.Multiple temperature rangesDifferent network environments call for a variety of temperature ranges. The SP Series is available in standard (0-70°C), industrial (-40 to 85°C), and extended (-40 to 105°C) temperature variants.
OverviewThe AT-WLMT is a simple metal bracket thatallows the majority of Allied Telesis’ range ofstandalone media and converters and rate(bridging) converters to be wall-mounted.Mounting Option RequirementsThe majority of media converters are used toconvert fiber optic connections to copper. Manyinstallations require these media converters tobe installed in a 19-inch chassis, using a range ofmounting options including AT-TRAY1,AT-TRAY2and the AT-MCR12. However, other applicationssuch as Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH), etc, requirea small un-obtrusive mounting option that canbe discretely placed on a wall or under a tabletop. The AT-WLMT was designed to meet thisdemand.Simple InstallationEach AT-WLMT has two circular holes and two‘key’ slots on the base. The use of the circularholes allows two countersunk screws to mountthe bracket on a horizontal surface underneatha table top, whilst the two key slots allow thebracket to be easily wall-mounted.SecurityAny media converter or rate (bridging) convertermounted in an AT-WLMT chassis is held securelyin place by means of a locking screw. This ensuresthat the media converter is not easily removed, thus helping to prevent accidental breakage ofthe fiber optic cable connected to the device, andalso theft of the actual unit.
The AT-SPLX40 offers a long-haul option to extend your network up to 40 km.
